Visas relaxed for Indian engineers
The Japanese government has said that it will relax immigration controls on Indian nationals with IT skills. Currently foreign engineers require an appropriate degree or 10 years of work experience. However, now they just need to pass the Indian Department of Electronics Accreditation (DOEACC) examination which certifies their competency. So far over 5,000 have passed these exams.
